Tomato & red wine sauce

- 3 big tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped (or 1 can of chopped tomatoes)
- 2 TBSP tomato purée
- 5 TBSP red wine
- 1 TBSP red wine vinegar
- pinch of caster sugar

Bring to the boil and cook until tomatoes have reduced. Blend or press through a sieve.
